  • You do not need a referral to see a psychologist privately or through insurance providers (Eg. NDIS or Private Health)

    However, if you would like to claim a Medicare rebate, you will need a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP. This typically covers up to 10 sessions per calendar year under the Medicare Better Access Initiative.

  • This depends on your goals and the nature of your concerns.

    Some people attend just a few sessions, while others benefit from longer-term support. Your psychologist will discuss a plan that suits your needs.

  • The first session usually involves an initial assessment where you and your psychologist discuss your current challenges, background, and therapy goals.

    It's also an opportunity to decide if you're comfortable working together.

  • Yes. If you have a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $98.95 per session.

    Your psychologist can guide you on how to access this rebate.

  • Our practice requires 24 hour’s notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

    We understand that life can be unexpected, and circumstances may change. To accommodate this, we offer the option to move appointments to an online format whenever possible.

    However, if a cancellation occurs late without sufficient notice, the full fee will apply. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us provide the best care for all clients.

  • Yes. All information you share is treated as confidential and private. Exceptions apply only in rare legal or safety-related situations, such as serious risk of harm to yourself or others.
